Yes. The Propper Door Stopper has a unique, patented fold-up design that is lightweight yet strong and durable.

The Propper Door Stopper hangs over the inside of a door hinge, holding the door open at approximately 80 degrees. There is no need to bend over or wedge anything under the door.

On both Fat Ivan and Propper Door Stoppers, the wings are made of fiberglass-embedded nylon, making them extremely durable. The Mini Propper is made from ABS plastic, which is lighter and more flexible.

The 1/4" solid steel hook is case hardened and zinc plated. The hook is locked in with a zinc plated pin.

Yes. Under the clear tape are two rare earth magnets that allow for convenient storage at the point of use. The Mini Propper has one magnet.

The tape on Fat Ivan tools is reflective and can easily be seen in a smoky environment when hit with a light.

Both Fat Ivan and Propper Door Stoppers weigh 5 oz. A Mini Propper Door Stopper weighs only 2.5 oz.

Both Fat Ivan and Propper Door Stoppers are sized to the same length as a standard hinge: approximately 4" x 4" when open and a compact 4" x 2" x 1" when folded up. Mini Propper Door Stoppers are closer to 2" x 2". Small and compact, but strong.

The Expander Shim slides over the edge of your Fat Ivan or Propper Door Stopper to open a door wider. One shim opens the door past 90 degrees, and two shims open it to nearly 120 degrees.

Propper and Fat Ivan door stoppers are available as singles, 2-packs and 24-packs. The 24-packs are ideal for schools, businesses and facilities.

Simply open the door and hang the hook over the inside of a hinge. When you no longer need the door propped open, pull the stopper up off the hinge, fold it up, and magnetize it to the steel door or door frame. It is that simple!

On both Fat Ivan and Propper Door Stoppers, when opened, the hook centers itself, allowing for a one-hand installation.

All Propper tools are designed so the hook easily slips over any standard hinge.

Yes. Add an Expander Shim: one shim opens the door past 90 degrees, and two shims open it to nearly 120 degrees.

Only temporarily. All fire-rated doors must be kept shut. Use your Propper Door Stopper for the job at hand, then remove it so the fire-rated door can close.

Yes. Both Fat Ivan and Propper Door Stoppers are very strong and are heat rated at 500° for 9+ minutes.

No. All metal parts are zinc plated, which makes the entire tool corrosion resistant.

Unlike other door stoppers on the market, Propper tools do no damage to the door finish, but you must also use common sense when using them.

Do not try to push against the door with any Propper tool installed, and do not use during heavy winds. Just like any tool, there is a proper way to use it. Be smart, be gentle, use common sense.

Yes. We offer a full five-year warranty on both Fat Ivan and Propper Door Stoppers. If you manage to break it, we will replace it or provide replacement parts for all warranty issues. Mini Propper Door Stoppers come with a three-year warranty.
